Entry, Payments & Tipping Cards
Cost is $50 per person.
If you wish to participate in Last Man Standing (LMS) competition there will be an additional cost of $5.
Full payment must be paid prior to the commencement of round 1, Thursday 21st March to be in the competition.
If you are unable to get to the club to enter your tips you have 3 options;
Get someone else to complete the card on your behalf.
Text them through to Leigh (0419 512 401) or Fiona (0438 438 364) or
If you are texting or emailing please include your name, otherwise it may be hard to determine who is tipping
Tips must be in prior to the commencement of the first game of each full round - Remember Round 1 commences on Thursday 21stMarch
In the event of a split round, tips must be in, prior to the commencement of the first game of each weekend.
Failure to fill in your card will result in you getting the lowest equivalent score for the round. For example, if the worst performing tipster of the round tips 3 correct winners, this is the score that you will be allocated.
If you miss a game on your card you unfortunately receive nothing.
You must enter a point’s margin for the game on the card highlighted with the red star as shown on the tipping card. The winner be determined by closest to margin without going over.
When marking your card you are to cross out the team you think will lose.
Tipping a draw is not permissible. A draw will mean a correct selection to all participants.
As per the highlighted rounds on the card (tba) all tipsters will be allocated double points so tip wisely.
An extra point will be allocated to anyone who picks 9 out of 9 in a round.
Last Man Standing (LMS) In the space provided on your tipping card you must nominate 1 team each week whom you think will win (your certainty so to speak). If the team you pick wins you continue in this competition, if your team loses you are out. This is where it gets harder. As you progress in this competition you are not permitted to pick the same team twice, so if you have picked Geelong in round 1 you cannot pick them again. The competition is over when, as the name suggests, there is just one person left. If at the end of 18 rounds, when you have successfully picked all 18 teams to win once each throughout that period, there is more than one person remaining, the prize money will be shared.The prizes for this competition will be determined by the overall amount of participants.
