Cruising Program at Bellerive Yacht Club
Welcome Cruisers!
Annually at BYC there are a number of formally organised and informal events. In recent years the Dave Hansen Memorial Cruise and the Barnes Bay Regatta Cruise have become well attended. Because these two cruises involve other clubs, they are planned according to fixed dates ahead of the time of each cruise, and require registration to assist with management and catering.
Informal events such as the pre-Christmas picnic, Channel and Norfolk Bay Cruises are usually weather dependent, involving less planning but well attended never the less. The informal events are organised via the Cruises at Bellerive Facebook page.
In past years there have been longer cruises to Tasmania’s east coast and in 2020 as far afield as the Furneaux Group, Deal Island and Victoria on an extended cruise.
