Learn To Sail – Start Crewing Session 1 of 2

If you’ve never sailed before this course is for you. No experience needed at all.
We’ll teach you the basics and by the end of the course you’ll be able to tie the correct knots, understand the terminology and how to rig up a yacht in readiness for sailing.
We’ll get onto the water as quickly as possible and show you how to trim sails.
Our instructors are highly experienced and our boat is perfect for showing you the basics. They sail most weekends and bring a wealth of experience and you’ll have no trouble learning in a hands on environment.
Course Cost $400.00 includes handbook, log book and 6 months free BYC membership. 10% discount for BYC members.
Course takes place over 3 consecutive Saturdays – and is aimed at those who are unable to attend courses during the week. Classes will be on Saturday 24 July, 31 July and 7 August 12.30pm – 16.30pm.
