If you’ve never sailed before this course is for you. No experience needed at all. We’ll teach you the basics and by the end of the course you’ll be able to tie the correct knots, understand the terminology and how to rig up a yacht in readiness for sailing.

We’ll get onto the water as quickly as possible and show you how to trim sails. Our instructors are highly experienced and our boat is perfect for showing you the basics. They sail most weekends and bring a wealth of experience and you’ll have no trouble learning in a hands on environment.

Our Radio Courses give you a qualification which is required by federal law to operate a transceiver. By the end of this course you’ll know how to manage emergency traffic such as “mayday” and understand the procedures in using a transceiver for communications. You’ll certainly be able to recognise who is using a radio but unlikely to be qualified! This qualification is required to acquire an MMSI number.
