Sail BYC Training – Start Crewing (Saturdays) Session 1 of 3
Bellerive Yacht Club 64 Cambridge Road, Bellerive, Tasmania, Australia 7018 Show map, Bellerive, Tasmania, AustraliaIf you’ve never sailed before this course is for you. No experience needed at all. We’ll teach you the basics and by the end of the course you’ll be able to tie the correct knots, understand the terminology and how to rig up a yacht in readiness for sailing.
We’ll get onto the water as quickly as possible and show you how to trim sails. Our instructors are highly experienced and our boat is perfect for showing you the basics. They sail most weekends and bring a wealth of experience and you’ll have no trouble learning in a hands on environment.
Course Cost $400.00 includes handbook, log book and 6 months membership. 10% discount for BYC members.

Combined Clubs Midweek Series – Sailing Event
Derwent Sailing SquadronThe Combined Clubs will again be holding three Midweek Series as part of the 2020/21 sailing season.
Series One 07/10/20 to 16/12/20
Series Two 06/01/21 to 17/03/21
Series Three 24/03/21 to 02/06/21
Racing will be held each Wednesday with the last day of each series being a group luncheon at one of the hosting clubs.
